NACE TM0215 – Test Method for Measurement of Gouge Resistance of Coating Systems

This test method describes a measuring methodology for determining the gouge resistance to shear scratch/indentation of coating systems. The purpose of this standard is to provide a test method for determining the gouge resistance of coating systems used on buried ferrous metal pipelines. Includes several figures with schematics, examples, and test samples. This standard is maintained by Task Group (TG) 034.
