MIL MIL-DTL-62460E – STEER UNIT, TRACKED VEHICLE, CLUTCH BRAKE AND GEARED STEER (SUPERSEDING MIL-PRF-62460D)

The steer unit covered by this specification is intended for use as a steer unit for the Armored Combat Earthmover M9 ACE. The steer unit is a two-speed, double-output gearbox, manually controlled for manipulating track laying vehicles, and includes a bevel gear set, clutch brake and geared steering systems, and full vehicle brakes.
