JIS S 0012:2018 provides basic accessibility considerations to be incorporated in designs of consumer products (hereafter referred to as products) to ensure that the products can be easily used and handled by more people with varying needs, including people of old age. It is not applicable to products for facility use, commercial use or professional use.
