SAE AMS4880D – Aluminum Bronze Alloy, Centrifugal and Continuous-Cast Castings 81.5Cu – 10.3Al – 5.0Ni – 2.8Fe Quench Hardened and Temper Annealed (TQ50)

This specification covers an aluminum bronze alloy in the form of centrifugal and continuous castings.

These castings have been used typically for bearings requiring abrasion resistance, good ductility, and good retention of hardness at moderate temperatures, but usage is not limited to such applications.
