JIS G 0951 – Shot media of circulation type shot peening for steel structure

JIS G 0951:2020 specifies the requirements for the shot media used in circulation type shot peening process aiming at improvement in fatigue strength of the welds and the heat affected zones around them by means of surface reforming mainly by addition of compressive residual stress or the like to the surfaces of steelstructure.
